
MS ELZA NARTADJIEVA
HEAD OF STRINGS DEPARTMENT
Ms Elza Nartadjieva discovered her passion for teaching since she was young. She graduated from the Uzbekistan Conservatory named after Mukhtar Ashrafi where she received her Masters Degree in Violin Performance and Teaching.
She has participated in various materclasses with visiting Professors from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, such as professor Sergey Kravchenko, Oleg Krysa, Isaac Reider. Upon completion of her Master’s Degree, she has been actively teaching full time as Principle second violin at the Grand Orchestra of National Grand Theatre of Opera and Ballet, working under the baton of great conductors such as Eugene Svetlanov, Lawrence Golan, Pierre Dominique Ponelle, Paolo Longo and Giovanni Guerrieri.
Ms Elza has been active in performing solo and chamber music, winning first prizes at the International Competitions in Uzbekistan and International Youth Festival in Germany.
As a violin teacher, she has had more than 25 years of teaching experience. Many of her students have been accepted to major Universities such as National University of Singapore (NUS), Yong Siew Toh Conservatory, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of Southern Queensland and James Cook University in Australia.
Ms Elza’s students have also achieved top prizes at the International competitions in Greece, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, Kazakhstan and USA. They have also been active at participation in various festivals from Central Asia, Russia, Europe and USA. Festivals include Malaysian Philarmonic Youth Orchestra, Asian Youth Orchestra, Heifetz International Music Institute, Chamber Music Festival for young talents in Russia.
Her students have also been achieving high marks at the ABRSM exams and enjoyed participating in the high scorers’ student concerts.
Ms Elza is currently teaching Violin at Tanglewood Music School.
