An alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas – Conservatory of Music, majoring in classical guitar performance. Throughout his stay in the university, he garnered both local and international awards, namely: 1st Prize-UST Classical Guitar Competition 2013, 3rd Prize-2014 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (Guitar, Senior Cat.), 2nd Prize-2016 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (Guitar, Senior Cat.), 1st Prize-Trattoria Poggio Antico Guitar Competition 2015, 1st Prize-PWU Guitar Competition 2016, 2nd Prize-Tarrega Malaysia International Guitar Competition 2014, and 3rd Prize-Hong Kong International Guitar Competition 2015.

He has also taken master classes with world-renowned artists such as Berta Rojas (Paraguay), Jeremy Jouve (France), Judicael Perroy (France), Gerard Abiton (France), Meng Feng Su (Taiwan), to name a few.

On his graduation, the University of Santo Tomas awarded him with the Benavides Outstanding Achievement Award for representing the school, both in the local and international stage, and for leading the Conservatory of Music Student Council.

Mr Aemilio has been teaching guitar and ukulele for 6 years in Singapore, with knowledge and expertise in classical, acoustic, fingerstyle and electric genres. He also prepares students in different examinations such as ABRSM, and Trinity Rock & Pop. Last but not the least, he is an easygoing and fun teacher!
