Two concerts will be held at Tanglewood Music School on 29 & 30 October as part of the Singapore International Festival of Music 2016.
The music of Jeffrey Ching will be performed by Andion Fernandez, the SIFOM Ensemble, and Jeffery Meyer, in the concert “Myths and Legends about Empires” on Saturday, 29 October at 7:30pm. Jeffrey Ching is a British contemporary classical composer, born in the Philippines of Chinese parentage. His musical style explores the correspondences and contradictions between the traditions of Europe and Asia, and between the music of past centuries and the present.

- Notas para una cartografia de Filipinas (for solo piano)
- Kunstkabinett (for soprano and seven players)
- Souvenir des Song (for solo cello)
- Celestial-Infernal Grand Nuptial Rite
(for mezzo-soprano, cello and ad libitum accompaniment)
On 30 October, a performance featuring the music of Young Composers from Singapore will be presented in the concert “Myths and Legends from Singapore” with SIFOM Ensemble and Jeffery Meyer. This event is free admission to public and will commence at 7:30pm.
