I. DURATION

Each grade consists of 10 sessions to be delivered over the course of 3 months. Each session is conducted for 1 hour.

II. PAYMENT

Invoices for the Theory Group Class will be issued upon registration and must be paid prior to the start of each term. The session cost is a termly fee and therefore there will be no pro rata refund should a student discontinue part way through a term. For example, if your child stops attending after 6 sessions you will not be refunded for the remaining sessions in the term as the program is contracted on a termly basis.

III. ABSENCE

We ask that students make a commitment to attend their class every week and this means that unless your child is ill or there are any other extenuating circumstances, we expect them to attend the group lessons. This is a commitment that you will need to discuss with your child before they join in Music Theory Group Class. Should a student be unable to attend a session, a make-up class may be arranged if there is another section of the group class for the term. A one-to-one lesson with a teacher may also be booked extra for make-up lessons with applicable standard fees.

If there are extenuating circumstances, which may cause long term absence of the student, please contact Tanglewood Music School management to discuss this.

IV. EXAMS

An assessment will be conducted by Tanglewood Music School at the end of the term. Examination under the ABRSM or Trinity College may be taken by the student as optional.

V. COMMUNICATION

Should you have any questions on any aspect of your child’s learning or lessons, please communicate them directly to Tanglewood Music School administration.
